Tom has been sailing since the age of 10, first learning on Long Island Sound and Cape Cod, with experience ranging from New England waters to the British Virgin Islands, The Grenadines, and Greece. A longtime member of Ipswich Bay Yacht Club for more than 20 years, Tom is deeply connected to the local sailing community and is on the water whenever possible. He joined the IJS board to give back to a program and place that have shaped his own sailing journey, and is passionate about helping young sailors build confidence, responsibility, and a lifelong love of the ocean—whether through racing, cruising, or simply learning to sail.
