Family Sail

Why leave all the fun to the kids? Come join other adults and your sailor for casual racing or recreational sailing in 420 sailboats. Enjoy sailing with others in the Ipswich Bay on a summer evening. Current IJS sailors are free with parent/guardian registration!

Either the parent or sailor must be experienced in 42o sailing. This is not an instructional class.

Schedule and other Arrangements:

Weather depending, we sail Wednesday evenings 5-7:30 PM, with Thursday as a rain-date (excluding Thursday, July 4th).
Advanced registration (including payment and a signed waiver) is required prior to participation.
Weather notices are sent via text.
All participants are asked to bring a life preserver and closed toe footwear.

The cost is $245 for the Family Evening Sailing season (6 sessions). Individual evening sessions will go on sale based on a limited availability and a cost of $50 per session.
