Peter is a parent of an IJS race team sailor. He joined the board in 2024 following years of corporate and PTO board membership. After growing up and living in and around New York City, he relocated with his wife to the Northshore. This afforded them the ability to be near the ocean while still close enough to a city, golf and skiing. Peter enjoys being on and around the ocean, whether walking the beach, swimming, surfing, boating or sailing. He loves how IJS introduces kids to the ocean through sailing, teaching them basic water knowledge and skills they can use for the rest of their lives. As a former professional golfer, Peter also values that IJS offers students the ability to continue to hone their skills through regattas.
