Eric Getchell joined the IJS Board in 2023. He is a lifelong sailor and has avidly sailed both the South and North Shores, Lake Champlain, as well as numerous locations throughout the Caribbean. He is a parent of both an IJS sailor and instructor. Eric immediately saw the value the program instilled in its students and the passion behind the instructors and staff who run the program. This inspired him to further help the program by joining the Board with a focus on the educational aspects of the program.
